Bob Staake's Struwwelpeter

A while ago, Jason here at WS interviewed Bob for Pixelsurgeon about his book, 'The Orb of Chatham'. We love Bob's work and thought about how excellent it would be to animate one of his books. So we posed the question to him and he offered us his take on the infamous story 'Struwwelpeter'.

We jumped at the chance, and have produced a few tests in conjunction with our good friends James 'Mutant Hands' Wignall and Alex Amelines. See the latest on our website www.wyldstallyons.com

Hopefully there will be more to come!

Nice work visually, yet I was waiting for the whole Struwwelpeter story to unfold - and then bam! the end. Where's the rest? What compounded my frustration is that the end credits are almost as long!

Ha! yeah, we'd love it to be longer too! We're currently in talks with various film peeps over in the States to try and get a whole series of these little beauties made.

So fingers crossed there'll be more to come soon
