Jon Burgerman & WS magic collaboration
Hello friends.
As briefly mentioned before, earlier this year we were approached by illustrator Jon Burgerman, who asked us to create an animated version of one of his illustrations, due to appear on DVD with his forthcoming book 'Pens are my Friends'.
Using a poem written by Jon (and utilizing the voice talents of director and friend of WS, Mark Walker), we created a journey through this surreal world based on Jon's drawings, using After Effects with a touch of Cinema 4D plus adding our own soundtrack and foley... all coming together to create 'Magic Ink'.
